Support for Biscuit!

As you may know, I plan to open a ceramic café in Greenwich Town Centre and I’d like your support - your help is needed to get a decision from London Borough of Greenwich.

I took my own children to paint ceramics and had such a delightful time, I wanted to create something similar for the people of Greenwich. The idea is simple: create your own masterpiece on unglazed pottery, known as biscuit, hence the name.

And why the petition?

Well I have everything in place: the premises, the website and demand from many people asking when it will be open, all I’m missing is for the London Borough of Greenwich to formalise the class of use.

Of the three hundred or so similar places in the UK more than 90% of them are classed as A1 which is the classification for retail. However, because I’d like to be able to offer you a cup of tea or coffee and a juice for the kids, some feel that this could be a café and that there are enough cafes in Greenwich town centre.

So I’d like you to sign the petition to show those unable to make this simple decision that we, the people, want to be able to have a quality creative and that we believe that this facility will really be a benefit to Greenwich..
